Conditioned VS Quarantined

Our goal is to provide quality livestock that suits your needs.  Our fish come one of two ways, conditioned or fully quarantined.

If a fish is marked "WYSIWYG", those fish are ready to ship or almost ready to ship.  WYSIWYG Fish usually ship within a week of purchasing.  Fully QT Fish, unless marked WYSIWYG will take some time to QT and process for shipping.  We will reach out via phone or e-mail regarding shipping on all orders, however fully QT fish will take some time.

 

Conditioned

Ideally we have the fish in our system for a few weeks.  Conditioned fish are visually healthy and eating. We don't offer all species this way, however, this is a good way for experienced hobbyists to acquire quality livestock and do their own quarantine.

 

Fully Quarantined

All fish sold as quarantined will go through a strict quarantine process.  Our process is not proprietary or unique to us. It is a proven method used by many people in the industry to ensure the health and longevity of your existing livestock as well as your new addition from us.

We will not ship out fish until they have shown zero signs of disease or parasites for 14 days.  Our process is designed to tackle five major issues seen in the hobby.

• Flukes
• Brooklynella
• Velvet
• Uronema

This is the route we recommend most hobbyists go.  You have potentially thousands of dollars of livestock at risk introducing new fish, it simply is not worth the risk.
